One can grow food anywhere—on a rooftop, on a windowsill, on a balcony, in a factory with lights, in a backyard. My personal plan—to live self-sufficiently in a farming community, to grow enough food for my family, to make a small living—was shaped by all that has happened to me. I have no 'one plan fits all'. We each must listen to our own needs. However, as I have been asked to propose a plan, here is a distillation of my journey, a plan of sorts and the way it evolved.

It is tomato planting now for all of us who start our seeds indoors. So here are my thoughts and odd ways on saving tomato seeds and planting them out.
